Over 2,000 InPost users shared their experience with lockers at convenience stores, and the results show just how beneficial they are: 

  • Increased spending: A third of respondents spent up to £15 at the store while using the locker. 

  • More footfall: Nearly three-quarters (74%) visited a nearby convenience store before or after using the locker. 

  • Enhanced convenience: 64% said the locker made their visit more convenient. 

  • High satisfaction: 80% of respondents rated InPost a perfect 10/10. 

  • Local impact: 48% of respondents lived within walking distance of the locker. 

  • Primary reason for visiting: 98% visited the location specifically because the locker was there. 

  • Repeat visits: Over half (52%) said the locker increased their likelihood of returning to the store. 

Forecourts: Boosting retail sales alongside fuel stops 

With over 7,000 InPost users surveyed at petrol station forecourts, it’s clear that lockers are an asset to these locations: 

  • Higher spend: 58% of users bought something in the forecourt shop. 

  • Bigger purchases: Almost a third (28%) spent up to £49 while visiting the lockers. 

  • Added convenience: 74% said the locker made their petrol station visit more convenient. 

  • Repeat visits: 56% said they are more likely to return to that petrol station because of the locker. 

  • Primary reason for visiting: 96% stated their primary reason for visiting was to use the InPost Locker. 

  • High satisfaction: 77% rated their InPost experience as a perfect 10/10. 

Commercial Real Estate: Driving Footfall to Retail & Dining Spaces 

InPost Lockers at commercial real estate locations don’t just attract visitors—they drive sales: 

  • Retail & dining boost: 40% of users visited a nearby store or café. 

  • Stronger sales: 58% of users made a purchase over £10. 

  • Locker-driven visits: 89% said the locker was their primary reason for visiting. 

  • Customer loyalty: 46% said they would visit again. 

  • User satisfaction: 80% rated their InPost experience as 4/5. 

  • Improved convenience: 64% found their visit more convenient thanks to the locker.
