Lockers

If you’re at your locker now and need a hand, give us a call on 0330 335 0950 – one of the team will be happy to help.

First time using a parcel locker? No problem, check out this page which will talk you through our all our services and go through the ins and outs of parcel lockers.

You can try again later or the following day – our lockers are all emptied at least once per day. You could also try visiting a different locker nearby. Download the app to see how many small, medium and large lockers are available near you.

That could mean that it’s temporarily out of order. But have no fear – we usually get things back up and running in a day or two (although sometimes it takes a little longer). We’re working round the clock to bring you as many lockers as we can so watch out for new points near you!

Our app now lets you to check locker availability and see what size compartments are free, all before you’ve left the house. If a locker is full it will suggest alternatives near to you. Check our 'Find a locker' section. You can also check live availability on our website, but compartment sizes won't display here.

Every one of our lockers and shops gets a daily visit from a courier, usually bright and early in the morning. Our busiest lockers might even get multiple trips a day. Our couriers will empty and deliver parcels for collection once per day, so if you're sending a parcel make sure you check for space.

Try turning your screen brightness up, holding your phone about 15cm away from the scanner and giving it a bit of a wiggle. If you're still having trouble, then you can always enter your tracking number using the keypad on the screen.

If you're trying to scan an Evri parcel, please note that from 1st March '25, InPost will no longer accept Evri parcels.

Yes - it's possible to drop off your Send or Return parcels at InPost Shops, check here to find one near you.

Our largest lockers can fit parcels that are up to 41cm x 38 cm x 64cm – and the maximum weight we accept is 15kg. To avoid any stuck parcels or damaged doors, please don’t try to force your parcel in if it’s a bit too snug.

Vinted & Returns parcels The locker will give you the option to select your compartment size on the screen. Please pop your parcel in the smallest compartment size available that your parcel comfortably fits in - never force it in! If only medium or large ones are free, no worries - you can use one of those without any extra charges. Just check the app to see what's available.

Sending with the InPost app If you've bought a digital label from the InPost app you will have already chosen your compartment size. This means the compartment will open right away, and you won't be able to change it at the locker. If you've picked a parcel that's too small, you'll need to cancel your label in the app and purchase a new one.

If the compartment size you selected is too small, please don't force your parcel to fit.

Simply close the compartment door without placing your parcel inside and tap 'My parcel doesn't fit' on the locker screen. If you're sending a Vinted parcel or a Return, you’ll then be able to choose a different compartment size on the screen. If you've bought a label from the InPost app, then you'll need to cancel it through the app and purchase a new one with the correct size.

Our locker sizes are:

  • Small - 8cm x 38cm x 64cm
  • Medium - 19cm x 38cm x 64cm
