All the deets on locker sizes and what to do if your parcel doesn't fit
What size compartment should I use?
- Extra small lockers (4cm x 23cm x 40cm) – Suits envelopes or bite-sized parcels (please note that not all our lockers have XS compartments)
Small lockers (8cm x 38cm x 64cm) – Perfect for items like sunglasses or small accessories
Medium lockers (19cm x 38cm x 64cm) – Great for shoes, cookbooks, or handbags
Large lockers (41cm x 38cm x 64cm) – Ideal for boots, sports equipment, or bulkier items
What if the compartment is the wrong size?
If the compartment size you selected is too big or too small, please don't force your parcel to fit.
Simply close the compartment door without placing your parcel inside and tap 'My parcel doesn't fit' on the locker screen. You’ll then be able to choose a different compartment size.
Have you bought a label from InPost?
If you've bought a label, you'll need to cancel it through the app and purchase a new one with the correct size.

Yes - it's now possible to drop off your Send or Return parcels at InPost Shops.
We cannot accept Evri parcels in our InPost Shops, please make sure you check the Evri website to find your nearest compatible locker.
Our largest lockers can fit parcels that are up to 41cm x 38 cm x 64cm – and the maximum weight we accept is 15kg. To avoid any stuck parcels or damaged doors, please don’t try to force your parcel in if it’s a bit too snug.
Most of our lockers are open 24/7, but they can get busier during the week. Our top tip? Lockers tend to have more free space at weekends, so pop your parcel drop-offs into your Sunday life admin list.
Our app now lets you check locker availability and see what size compartments are free. If a locker is full it will suggest alternatives near you.
Try turning your screen brightness up, holding your phone about 15cm away from the scanner and giving it a bit of a wiggle. If you're still having trouble, then you can always enter your tracking number using the keypad on the screen.
If you're trying to scan an Evri parcel, please double check that the locker you're using is compatible with Evri parcels. You can find your nearest locker by checking the Evri website.
Yes you can! Our app now offers an option to name your parcels to make sending and receiving multiple parcels easier than ever. Only you will be able to see what the name is.
