Online shopping really does make life that little bit easier. But we have all been stung by orders that aren’t quite right. Items that don't look like the pictures, clothing that doesn’t fit or feel right. Or maybe you’ve decided that you just don’t need it. We’ve all been there. 

Whatever your reasons, returns should be fast and faff-free.  

One does simply return via InPost 

Return you fools. Don’t settle for orders that aren’t right! When you set up a return with InPost, you can use any of our (8,000) lockers or shops dotted around the UK. Not only can you use any of our locations, but you can also drop off at a time that suits you. Most of our lockers are 24/7 so you can find a place and time that works around you.  

How it works 

1. You shall not print  

   All of our returns are digital, so you don’t have to print anything. All you need to do is choose InPost when setting up a return through your Retailer’s site.  

2. Find your locker or shop  

It doesn’t matter where you drop off your parcel, you can use any of our lockers or shops with space. Head to the app to check which lockers or shops have space available. 

3. We’ll handle the rest

   Our lovely couriers will take care of the rest. All you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to you.

One app to rule them all 

We needs it. Must have the precious. Gollum quotes aside, the app is a must have.  

Here are all the things you can do from it: 

• Check locker availability: Before you set off to your locker of choice, double-check that there’s space for your parcel.  

• Nickname your parcels: Sending or returning multiple items? Make it easier to track by giving each parcel a nickname. 

• Keep (In)Posted: Whether you're sending or receiving, track all your precious parcels and stay updated on their every move. 

• Contactless collections: When you collect your orders with us, you can open the compartments remotely with just a tap. 

The power of notifications 

Turning on notifications might seem like so small a thing. Such a little thing. But it makes a huge difference. Here’s why: 

• Be the first to know: Get real-time updates on your parcel’s status. No more guessing where your delivery is. 

• Prompt pickups: Receive alerts as soon as your parcel is ready for collection, helping you grab it before it’s sent back to the sender (you have 3 days). 

• Stay in the loop: Be the first to hear about new features and improvements in the app by opting in for updates.

Want to know what locker size to select on the screen? 

Here’s a guide to our compartment sizes: 

• Small lockers (8cm x 38cm x 64cm) are ideal for returning items such as sunglasses or items in an envelope 

• Medium lockers (19cm x 38cm x 64cm) are great for shoes, cookbooks or handbags 

• Large lockers (41cm x 38cm x 64cm) fit items such as boots or sports equipment
